After much procrastinating, I’ve finally gotten this website up. It’s quite minimalist, but I like how it is. The only piece missing is my resume in PDF format (or any format) but that’s because I’m still putting the finishing touches on that. It should be up within a week or two.
When I purchased this domain name to start maintaining an online identity, I hadn’t considered implementing a blog as part of the site. However, as my departure date for my year abroad gets closer and closer (two months from today!!) I’ve begun to get questions about how I’m going to keep in touch with friends and family. I ended up deciding a blog would be the easiest way, and since the website name is my name, it’s easy for friends and family to remember the URL.
So, yes. There are still a few things that need to be tweaked and I’ll be spending the rest of the day checking things over on this site, but since it’s up and functional, I’m considering it a project well done.
