I’ve kind of run the whole subject of final exams and finishing up the semester into the ground already but for the last time: this week was powered by final exams. But as my last exam was on Wednesday, the remainder of the week has consisted of too much TV.
I know I’ve said I’ve been wanting to use this break to catch up on reading (and my to-read list is the subject of another entry for another day) but I’ve been working on a few projects and the TV is better for background noise. (And by “better” I mean incomparable, because it’s not like books provide background noise.) I have a few choice statements to make about what’s on TV nowadays (this whole Kardashian empire thing on E!, for instance?). But once the projects are all wrapped up, I will be catching up on my reading. And perhaps even beginning an outline of the novel I’ve had as a work in progress since freshman year of college? Oh, the possibilities of winter break…
