About
About Me
Hi, I’m Amanda. I am an American University undergraduate student studying Public Communication and the Chinese language. I have a tendency to talk really fast and to intersperse Mandarin and Cantonese words into my English vocabulary thanks to years of language study and studying abroad for a year in Beijing at Peking University.
I am part of a three-person family and I have friends from all over the world, thanks to my multicultural background and upbringing. While it’s not always easy to have my closest friends live far away, I wouldn’t change it for anything. I also have a perpetually complicated romantic life. Perhaps the two are related.
I travel around the world as much as I possibly can and when I’m not traveling in a far-flung land, I’m fantasizing about my next location. Currently I am studying, working, and interning in Washington, D.C.
