The Best Idea I’ve Had All Week

The best idea I’ve had all week was to make chocolate cookies with caramel centers Sunday night. Why? Because eating these cookies while studying for my exams is making life seem a whole lot more manageable now that there are cookies involved.

(Some of the few that remain look a little funny because the baking tray didn’t fit properly into the oven. The tray was tilted slightly so some of the cookies squished together. Either way, they still taste awesome.)

The Perfect Spring 2012 Schedule

I have successfully figured out the perfect spring 2012 class schedule for myself.

Let’s ignore the fact that registration dates haven’t even been announced yet and I have papers to write and exams to study for between now and the first possible date I can register for classes. (My friend’s reaction to discovering I already have my classes picked out for the spring was, “WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT CLASSES FOR NEXT SEMESTER ALREADY YOU’RE STRESSING ME OUT.”) If everything goes according to plan (famous last words?) I’ll have a kick-ass schedule this spring!! So, so stoked.

And now, back to writing papers and studying for exams. My life is so exciting, isn’t it? Just got to get through this week and next till my academic life will regain some semblance of normality. Although I’ll leave the definition of “normality” up to you.

HerCampus AU

Just a short but sweet entry to promote HerCampusAU, the American University branch of the online magazine HerCampus. The magazine launched today, and I must say the site is looking awesome! (If you go check out the site, you can also check out the article I wrote where I interviewed one of my favorite professors. Since I’m part of the HerCampusAU team, there’ll be more articles to come!)
